I was on the fence about getting these heels. They were beautiful, yes, and can transition easily from a casual day in jeans to a night out. But I wasn’t sure about the comfort it’d provide, and also because there are no reviews on this site for this specific pair.

For context, I wear heels daily for years. I know what a good heel feels like, and I’ve tested enough pairs to be able to assess the comfort of a pair of heels.

These heels? Amazing. Truly, amazing.

I was in them for a full day, expecting to get blisters because I haven’t broken into them yet.
Did I get any blisters? Nope, not even a whisper of a blister at the back of my feet.
In fact, I was able to walk with stability despite the heels that were shaped like a stiletto. I think it’s because they were “thick” enough to offer support without compromising on the femininity of the shape of the shoe.

And the comfort! WOW. PillowStep is not marketing fluff, I’ll tell you that. Your feet feel so good slipping into them. Every step is cushioned and supported. Like I said, I was in them for about 10 hours on the first day of wearing them, and the way it molded to my feet felt like I’ve had them for years.

I’m so proud that this is a homegrown company from Singapore. Supporting small and local businesses is so important, especially so for companies that are producing excellent products. Sure, it might be pricey to some, but wouldn’t it make more sense to purchase one solid pair of shoes to last you for years, as opposed to 5 cheaper pairs that may not take you through the year?
